18 / 20 hp exhaust
Well I am one of those that bought the 18 briggs a long time ago. Of course my 18 is not an 18 anymore but I am stuck with the block. Everyone started then putting the 23 in their carts and the 18 got left out of the exhaust mods. I finally found someone that made a kit for the 18/20 block that you weld up to make your custom exhaust. Rex is the owner and the place is kartpipes. I dont think I am stepping on any shoes since no one makes an exhaust like it and you have to weld it up....it is cheap and a fun project. I have attached some photos.

Looks good, is it carbon steel tubing or stainless steel tubing?

Yeah it is Rex is the owner and he is a great guy, real easy to work with. I called and talked to him and we came up with a plan.

Re: 18 / 20 hp exhaust
He does have a generic kit for the briggs vtwins. It looks like he mix and matches to get a different shape
He has a slip joint that I am thinking of so that I can bolt my muffler right to the rear axle http://robertsonstorquetubes.com/pro...werengine_ufit |
