![]() Are there any issues with negative camber on 2019 RXV Freedom carts?

![]() I've not heard of any adjustments that can be made to Camber on an EZGO. Caster can be adjusted, but to my knowledge not Camber.
Bad Camber usually means something is worn out, bent or broken. All of which sound like they'd be not likely on a 2019... Maybe there are adjustments on the newer RXVs??? But I thought there wasn't. |

![]() Only adjustment offered by the factory is toe setting. The camber is very neutral on a Rxv, it doesn't go fast enough to need a bunch of camber.

![]() Camber is the amount tires lean in or out when looking at top of tire. Usually set negative because as suspension changes( compress’s under bumps or load ) it will go positive, meaning tires lean in viewing tire from top. Keeps tires wearing evenly.
Toe is the amount tires point. Inward or outward when viewed from front of cart. It’s main effect is aside from tire wear is how responceive steering is when wheels are turned. Too much toe out= steering “twitchy” too much toe in steering less responsive. Caster (can’t be seen when looking at wheels) is how far forward or or behind axle of wheel is in relatition to ball joint/ kingpin centerline. It effects how much steering input is needed to turn wheels, also how fast, easy wheels return to straight once steering wheel is released. Only thought toe was only adjustment that could be made on stock carts. |

![]() My new stock EZGO RXV Freedom golf cart camber was out 3/8 inch. I took my A arms off and had my machine shop buddy shorten them slightly. My camber is basically "0" now. Sad that EZGO would not admit there was an issue and that I had to pay to have this done. I showed the local EZGO Tech my cart and visually proved to him the camber was out. I finally got a call from a rep named Dick and he just told me that I didn't have any issue to worry about. So with that I corrected the problem myself. Very disappointed with EZGO but not my cart. I love it.

![]() Jack did you notice any difference in steering response?
Would suspect it would have faster turning response at lower speeds, but slower at higher speeds. |

![]() RXV's have always been set and forget.
If the Camber is out or the Toe is excessive on a Fleet car 99% of the time the A-arms and coil assembly is bent. But on a new 2019 dude unless something got hit or something is stupid wacky don't worry about it, plus the steering rack would be making a lot of weird noises and have slop in a specific area too because the rack takes a lot of the impact.
