G14 Starts and just idles
Any suggestions as to why my Yamaha G14 starts and just idles? Thanks!

If it doesn't "Rev up" it's not idling, it's just cranking over on the starter. I've had quite a few older Yamahas snap a throttle cable and just crank. However there could be all kind of causes, if it is just cranking over as I suspect.

I had a throttle cable break on both of ours at different times. The cart would move about 2 miles an hour.
