yamaha4life, it sits as high as it can go without hitting the seat now.


heres a pic of my measuring tape passing the header, completely perpendicular to the cart frame. turns out its only about 1" away from where the front of the seat with be. do you think i should move the motor back?
My gas tank hits the seat just alittle bit when I hit jumps and ruts and so on. I used angle iron and cut the slot out the for belt. Its works good and hasnt broken.

ya im just worried about it getting real hot. but for some reason i realigned it and its not as close.
as for the updates, im pretty stuck at this point without a welder. i went out and bought tubing yesterday and ive starting fabbing all the mounts im going to use. now all i need is something to keep those mounts on!(welder)

im still trying to find a place that i can get my hands on a welder. if i cant soon ill be buying one within the next couple weeks. then there will be a lot of work, and a lot of updates. im hoping to have it done by new years

Bring it by the house I have one in the basement. I've seen a small gas unit for rent at Home Depot, you might look into that.

alright guys. i know its been a long time waiting but between school full time and work part time, ive been super busy. but yesterday i finally got it running and took it for its first spin since the mod. it rides great and feels like it will definitley have enough power. im going with a full cage and bucket seats, that way the motor can keep cooler and fab is easier. hopefully pics will be up soon, and maybe even a video!
