![]() I took the picture you had posted of your governor I put arrows with numbers for dirrection
1 loosen out to original position 2 look behind there is a 10mm nut loosen it 3 pry up the asembly 1/4 inches of the shaft that comes out of the transmission 4 you will see from the top the bracket is D shaped , you take a 5/16" drill bit & round it out to get rid of the D shape so the bracket can spin freely on the shaft 3 push back at original spot 2 take lock tigh or paint nail polish put it on treads & just tighten by hand no pressure if you ever sell the cart you can just spot weld it back in place if needed I hope this clears it up |

![]() I decided to bypass the governor all together. After looking at the old throttle cable, found the housing to be broke in two places. I installed a new cable straight to the carb. Cleaned the carb, adjusted the pedal and cable, and excellent response. Runs like a whole new machine. also changed the oil to Mobile one Synthetic. Couldnt be happier!

![]() Thanks to cart de golf! I performed your procedure on my 2008 Drive. My GPS registered 31 mph with standard tires & Mobil 1 oil.
