I'm in ned of a wiring diagram for a 94' G8 gas cart. or a little help. the battery in not charging and it seems that the power is not being killed to the starter motor. if i unplug the power to the relay the cart charges the battery, and seems to work just fine. what is suppost to turn the power off to the starter relay so the charging system works?

I could be wrong, but I thought the starter changed to the generator mode when its rpm was increased. Sorry, but I know very little about
the electrical system. I wish I could be of more help. Someone else
will reply.

Sounds like maybe a bad pedal switch and voltage regulator. The pedal switch should kill everything when released. If the voltage regulator (usually located under the driver side rear fender well) is bad, it will not charge the battery.

Also check these things: Check to make sure the little red and green wire coming off the front of the starter generator is connected properly and has a good connections. Then make sure the starter generator is hooked up correctly:
F2 (front of st/gen) connects to short pos. cable coming off the solinoid, A1 (passenger side bottom) connects to the neg. side of battery, A2 (passenger side top) wraps around to the back of the starter/generator to F1 (small red cable from side to back of st/gen.).
