Default Shorter belt on a G8 4 person...

Building my G8 for a 4 person transported while at motorcycle races and such. Got 22" tires and a 6" lift. I put on the Jakes spring, was thinking about trying the shorter belt. Anyone have experience with it, and even better, a part number???? Thanks.......

You can go with a shorter belt (I don't have a part number) but it will definitely take away from the top end 'considerably'. The spring/spacer torque kit is the best bet for torque and should pull what you need.

Make sure the front tensioner on the engine is tight
I pull 4 people on my cart & tow other carts uphill without a problem
the white spring would probably work best for you
I removed it & used plowman yellow spring better top end a bit less torque
Plowman also have there own belt a bit wider & stronger

its a small steel cable that goes from the motor mount on the drivers side to the frame it helps the engine from going to far backward especially if your motor mount are week
