How to tell what type of Trans

What is the best way to tell what type of trans you ahave and the type of motors that your able to place in a cart........I do have a coil type but want to up grade

You have a TorqShift 6 speed mated to a 3.73 ratio limited slip trans axle.

Ok, just kidding.

Electrics are direct drive.

If you upgrade the speed control you won't have to change the motor. The year/model will determine what motor you can use when its time to upgrade...unless someone changed the rear end.

I have on like Yard Man Dan....I will get the picture up this weekend.........Also what type of speed control should I be looking at...........and can you replace the coil to a newer kind and newer motor................Or replacing the motor easier and cheaper.......I can not find motor that will fit this ( Hard to find ) at least someone to REALLY help....This is my first one...I would like to use it in the wood in Gerogia and Alabama ( Where my wife is from)

I am learning alot from everyone here.........Thanks
