Beeping all the time
Hello,
I washed my 2006 Columbia Par Golf Cart today. I pulled everything (papers, balls, gloves and etc.) out then turned the hose on it. At some point it started beeping even though the power was off and the key removed. The beeping is coming from the front of the golf cart. It is a constant beep about one second apart. When I turn on the lights it diminishes but when I turn the lights off it comes back to beeping every second. Any ideas what is going on here. Thank you for your assistance. Bob Murray. |

Re: Beeping all the time
Bob, is it safe to assume you have a turn signal on the side of the steering column? When water gets inside that black box there it causes a resistance across the circuit and beeps, with the actual beeper under the hood. You can use compressed air and blow that out, or just let it dry and turn up the radio so you don't hear it for a few days.
