speed ?

Im in the process of getting my cart registered one of the requirements is that it at least needs to reach a speed of 20 mph Im at 17 does anyone got any ideas on how to reach that speed without breaking the bank its a 3 wheel ezgo 1978 36v

42 volts might do it, 48 volts will for sure.
