you can take that IQ cart to any dealer that has the program, and they can program the IQ cart to do 19 mph, why buy a controller and motor when you already have a good start. All you need is the serial number of the cart and computer.

I have a 2003 DS IQ system club car that has developed a high pitched sound that I can't seem to locate. I do know it is in the front area of the cart and it will not shut off when I remove the power cables from the batteries. any suggestions?

did you get it wet? Sometime when you get the controller wet or the forward and reverse switch wet, it will make a buzzing sound?

Thanks for the reply, I'm a little embarrased, one of my golfing buddies thought it would be a good joke to plant a pedometer with a clock alarm under the front cowl of the cart. I bit big time. Common sense should have told me that nothing on the cart continues to work when you remove the power cables. I'm going to like being a part of this club, I've owned six club cars and maybe I can help soneone with a real problem in the future. Dub
