F1 F2 is your field windings you blew your controller it shorted out it'll only go one way rebuild it

I would think and this is only my opinion that if you blew the controller it wouldn't move in either direction.

On a IQ cart the cart was in forward when the motor terminals were shorted, thus wiping out forward, reverse will still work. Controller is the issue, have your friend pay for it.

Okay I'll say it - I bet $100 dollars it is the controller failed.
 Happens in Sepex drive carts because the control does the direction control. Cart guy is right  but, I suggest against rebuilt controls. They fail again soon & often. They are not really rebuilt, they are patched and sent back into service. |

Don't forget that Ray is in England and that current flow there is from positive to negative.
Just the reverse of what it is here. |
