the yamaha are easy cut the front loop were the arms are mounted to raise it up that will lower your front with out changing any thing also if you want more info on this pm me the rear is easy just relocate the top of your shocks. also we have a g9 with air baggs front and rear,, if you need any help on this for a yamaha i can help any time let me know...

I’m definitely interested in learning more about dropping my g19

I’ve lowered cars in the past so my immediate idea was to raise the upper shock mounts front and rear ..

If you only relocate the shock mount, and not the arm, you will have massive camber issues.
