Well I decided to mount the headlights from the kit. Not a perfect fit, but they'll work. I trimmed some black plastic material off the top of the bezel to match it to the cowl better.

I used a Dremel with a cylindrical sandpaper attachment. Did a little more trimming to it today to match it to the body line of my old-school cowl. All-in-all I think I took about 1/2 to 3/4" of black plastic material off the top of the bezels.

No guide other than the body line itself. I just took off a little at a time with the Dremel, it looks good, but not perfect-perfect.

Yep, I have a cowl from a '99 on my '92. Bolts right it place.
