Default Motor splines repairable ?

Found a 36v motor for my 48v cart
but splines look worn pretty bad

Are there options for repairing the splines?

Came Off an 85 DS

Found several new motor couplers

Read that if you weld a 3/4 nut to the coupler,
with the bolt inside the splines for alignment
tighten the bolt to pull the coupler

Fine thread
Tighten & heat

May give it a go

Rebuild with new brushes & bearing

Found a source for motor parts:
