So do I have a bad throttle? What part would that be if it's not the pedal switch?

It depends on what kind of throttle device you have:
If it is a 0-5kΩ, it is staying at 0Ω
If it is a 5k-0Ω, it is staying at 5kΩ
If it is a 0-5v, it is staying at 0v
If it is an ITS, it is staying at the lowest current.
What kind do you have and is the Controller setup to the same type?

Did You clear any previous throttle calibration?

Did you change any curves for Linearization or Speed?

the carts is setup 0-5k and the controller is setup the same, i have tried severl different setups and im having no luck. i didnt clear any throttle calibration that i know of. no i havent messed with the curves either.
