brakes on 2016 G29/Drive
still cant find replacement brake shoes for my 2016 G29. Cart has the " external " brakes on each rear hub. Trying to hopefully find a set of pads thats a little beffier than what i have but i cant even locate stock replacement.
Anyone fooled with replacing the brake shoes on newer Yamaha Golf cart? |

JN9-W2536-00-00 BRAKE SHOE SET
Each set is for one wheel, so 2 will be required. There are no "beffier" ones that I know of. |

Re: brakes on 2016 G29/Drive
Can someone please tell me roughly how long brake shoes should last on a 2017 Yamaha Drive 2 EFI model?
I live in the mountains and have very, very steep hills and since my cart free-wheels down the hill without the brakes on, I find myself braking for up to 2 minutes at a time. I have 310 hours on my 2017 golf cart and that probably equates to about 4,500 miles on hills/curves. I wasn't sure how long brake pads lasted. Thanks in advance for any feedback anyone can provide. |
