Default wheel offset

I have a 2014 drive that I'm putting lift and tires on, local wheel guy ordered some 14's the other day with 23' tires and the box says + 2.5 offset. I'm not sure but everything I've been reading says needs to be negative offset to keep from rubbing.

We use for local community roads, no dirt or gravel.

Can you guys point me in right direction before I get them mounted?

This sight has great info, please keep it going.

I guess what I’m asking is will I need to get spacers if this +2.5 offset wheel is used?

The rims are 14x7 with 23’ tires and a 4inch lift.

Anyone?

I don't believe I heve ever seen an offset expressed like that. A 2.5 x 3.5 on a 7" wheel would make more sense . Please look again and let us know....

If it is 2.5 x 3.5 it should fit with a 4" lift. But I believe it will be about 1/2" narrower than the front tires. Not a big deal.
