Default 2000 G11 Yamahauler

I picked this up last weekend down in Winston-Salem. 2000 G11 Yamahauler that was owned by an old man and used on his farm. "It's been sitting awhile". All original and unmolested, straight and rust free. Original, untorn seat covers. The body is in great shape--only one chunk missing at the right rear wheel well. It smokes, but ran well with fresh gas.

The plans are a Jakes lift and 22" tires on 10" wheels. I'll swap in the Plowmans built engine--w/ Hot Setup and head work--from my G16 yard cart, and get a Plowmans secondary. I'll be keeping this one to use around here.

I've got a good, non-smoking engine to put in the G16, and then it will have to go.

Out with the old...

I've already received the wheels and tires, the lift arrives today, and clutches tomorrow. I've still gotta pull the Plowmans engine from the G16, but making progress...

Lift kit and tires installed. Can't say much about the instructions from Jakes. The lower kingpin bushing had to be removed, and the top one had to be cut down flush. The kingpins are different than a G16. Totally wrong instructions for the sway bar mount, but got it done. It was difficult because of the OEM trailer hitch.

Next, the secondary...

Drained the rear the other day. The cover had the factory seal, but the oil didn't look bad. The secondary still had the intact circlip on the input shaft, and a U-Max spring. New Plowmans secondary going on, with his red spring. Hopefully I'll pull the G16 engine tomorrow.
