G1 replace ignition switch with 3 position toggle?
The ignition switch on my G1 is out. I dont need a key. Can I replace the key switch with a simple on-off-on toggle switch?

Re: G1 replace ignition switch with 3 position toggle?
I think your issue is that the F/R functionality of the switch actually completes two separate circuits rather than just forward and reverse. The key switch schematic is attached. Pretty much a G1's entire harness goes through the key switch. Perhaps if you really study the schematic there may be someway of combining those 4 circuits into 2. I am not seeing it, though,

Look for a DPDT (double pole, double throw) switch, might be doable.
