Replacing the pulse line
Hoping someone will be able to answer this one. I have a 1996 G14 and the pulse line to my fuel pump has a splice in done by the previous owner. I want to replace the line with a new one as I'm having starving fuel issues and it may be due to the splice and not maintaining a proper pulse to the fuel pump. The current line is a hard plastic tube. Can I replace that with standard vacuum line tubing or does it have to be the same hard plastic type?

Re: Replacing the pulse line
Even though that line shouldn't ever have liquid gas in it it will get plenty of gas vapor that will erode a non-fuel line over time. It's probably best to go with dedicated fuel lines. Any auto parts store will be able get you fixed up.

I used all clear fuel lines on mine - gives me something else to worry about -

Re: Replacing the pulse line
Any reason why you wouldn't just buy the OEM line? fits right and works well. For me, that's the only way I would go

Re: Replacing the pulse line
Just time for me. I can be to the parts store and back in 20 mins versus waiting a few days for something to ship. Other than that, sure, OEM is always a good option.
