Default G2 ignition coil test

Hey guys,
I have a G2 I was working on last year, got busy with life and haven’t touched in a while. I was last stuck in the boggy/intermittent spark quagmire and just diving back into it now. Cart starts/though with some difficulty, runs great for a bit, then dies out and intermittent key starts and stalls. I have done the Chrysler ignitor bypass and the condition is unchanged.

I am checking resistance through ignition coil and getting 4.2 through the terminals, 3.5 thought the plug cap, but 18 from terminal to the plug cap. Is this too high?

BBDOC, if you don't have a copy of the service manual, I can send you a copy if you want to PM me your email address.. There is a very thorough procedure to test the ignition system with all of the resistances listed. It starts on page 8-29 it should help quite a bit. Let me know if you don't have a good copy and I can e-mail it to you.
