Default Noob question: What body style?

So, being new to Yamaha carts, how do I tell if I have a G1, G2, G3, etc.

It's a 2020 or 2021 Adventurer 2+2. Not sure the year because it's on order and don't know what will actually show up at the dealer when the order is filled.

Thanks

G22 and below are older carts. The lower the number, the older the cart. Example: G1 is the oldest of the "G Series" Yamaha golf carts, came out in 1979.

Check this PDF, it's the timeline of Yamaha carts.

So the G29 is the current era of carts? That pdf was great, thanks for sharing.

Nope, a G29 is the 'second newest' model "drive 2" is the newest model.

DR2 (Drive 2) is the newest model, total new line. Totally different In appearance, and different for "add on accessories".. G29 stuff usually doesnt "just bolt up" for the new model.

Thanks for the response. If it weren't for you, I would not know. I have not stumbled upon that information anywhere else on the web (Yamaha's site, dealers' sites, parts sites, etc.). They mention Drive2, of course, but not that it is the new model designator, especially when seeking out aftermarket parts info.

Thanks again!
