Default Need Advice Asap G1 Carb Question

Im getting ready to leave for the desert so I am trying to figure this out before I load the cart.
On the carb there is a hose on the drivers side that I found just sitting open never noticed it before when I plug it off cart dies when I leave it open take forever to start any Idea of what it is and does anyone have pics of their carb set up!?

I'm not familiar with the G1 carb setup but click on the Yamaha link in my sig and look it up in the parts manual on Yamaha's site. The hose may be for the oil pump. Not sure. Maybe one the G1 guys will chime in pretty quick.

I don't have my cart here to look at,but the only hose I can think of on "drivers side" would be the one for the oil injection.If your not mixing your oil in the tank and that line was off your engine isn't getting lubrication(bad)
The only other line I can think of,besides the fuel line,is the vacuum line that goes to the sensor on the muffler that controls how much oil to add to the carb. HTH

Later G1 Carbs had a overflow tube, it came out the drives side , looped over the carb and was held in place in the little bracket on the passanger side (see picture #2) it just slid in to the cicular bracket/holder. If it leaking gas, most likely a stuck float.
