ahhh but dave forgot to tell that yamaha like to be driven every day for a little excersize, and given a bath once a week.

Sabercat, Are you kidding...The only water the cars I work on are because it rained I'm not kidding, I high pressure wash my garden furniture more often than most of the cars I see. Funny side note, Guy brought in an old G1-e, said the "dang" thing wont move, lifted the rear body and .......There was a "Rats" nest on top of the batteries!!!!! I hate Rats! the battery connections had at least a hand full of green/slimy/corrossion on every terninal. The main 36 volt positive cable was not even connected? The battery water levels were correct, and I asked, didn't you see the corrossion? His reply....it's always ran geat! Since he was an old customer and freind....I made "HIM" high pressure wash it and then I fixed the cable end. He will be buying a gas car when the batteries go south.
