Air inlet
Has anyone extended the air inlet to the airbox out from under the cart? I drive in some dusty conditions and the engine gets covered in dust so I know it gets very dusty under there and the pre filter gets clogged quick. I was thinking about moving it. Just want some pros and cons.
Thanks. |

Re: Air inlet
Ezgo used one to draw air from the passenger area behind your feet. And CC used a labyrinth of tubes under the floor and up behind the dash to get clean air ..... You should be fine as long as you do not restrict the air flow

To mate with the airbox I will take a piece of PVC and cut and heat it to fit... I think. |

Re: Air inlet
I was thinking of running PVC up to the front near the cupholder, underneath. Also was thinking of using a car airbox/filter. One day I wondered about putting a duct down the floor and a fan in front, would not take that much to flood some clean air into the engine area. Just toss a snapdisk on the engine fins to run the fan. Even with my normal lift I have tons of clearance under there, in fact it could even beef the frame up. Just run the airbox intake into that duct. But, just ideas.
