Default 95 g14 smoking

i noticed the otherday that my g14 is starting to smoke on start up then it goes away. i was thinking valve guides. is this going to effect its performance? should i worry about it or is it common. thanks

I would agree with you here, but i think the big guys on here say, it's rings. Do a compression test,and that will give you an idea how healthy the motor is. The "Big Guys" should be by shortly!

probably the oil rings are sticking to the piston ,time for a refresh

Drive it till you get a citation from the epa is it due for a oil change.
