You may need to remove the belt to get clutch to close all the way to get broken piece out.

So here are some pics of the night I saved this golf cart with very high potential!!!
and then just a few days later pic. after a good bath with Simple Green, high pressure spraying and a few new parts!!!! I have all the cosmetic parts now and am waiting for all the extra stuff in mail.. I went crazy shopping!!! lol Still trying to think of how and where to mount stereo!! I have looked at thousands of pics in last couple days...and still got nothin!!!

I am kind of thinking about going to junk yard and looking for center console from minivan or something with cup holders and storage compartments.. and then cutting in stereo slot!!! then i dont lose cupholders and have extra storage.. Any ideas???? ??? ?????

I do see alot of stereos in the dash compartments. I have seen some guys cut aluminum pieces to fit exactly to spec to cover the dash and then cut in a slot for the radio on the drivers side then make a hinged door for the pass! Just an idea.

I was thinking about the dash a lot, but only spot i could put it would be right by cup holders and with the splashing of drinks on the radio wouldnt be good..

I am installing the headlights which I will have to cut into front and the back of the lights go into dash.. I am custom fitting a piece of 1/2 inch thick plastic(AZEK) for dash face and then painting to match new color.. after that I can easily drill or cut out holes for everything. I am putting speakers on the ends of dash where they dont interfere with lights. then i wanted all my toggle switches(lights, radio, under lights, horn) to left of steering column, cigarette lighter in center somewhere by cupholders where i am making a storage compartment(glove box)and then whatever else I find!!! lol So yeah still kinda stuck on where stereo is going!!

I have a E-Z-GO and I have my stereo mounted right into where the golf balls go. And trust me drinks never splash up on it, I golf every Friday with it and I do have maybe one or two drinks!! Just get a good marine grade stereo and you will be ok!!
