Yamaha G9 starting question
Hi I have a G9. Sometimes when I step on the gas pedal nothing happens. I mean the engine doesn't turn over. It sounds like the starter motor is spinning but not turning the engine over. Would this be a problem with the starter itself or should I start somewhere else? You guys are the experts!

Re: Yamaha G9 starting question
I think to start with, see if the starter belt is properly adjusted (not slipping). Then it could be a loose elect. connection, then brushes in the starter. This might get you going.
Good luck Mike |
