Diode and Resister??
What is the correct diode and resister to run on a heavy duty 200a 36v solenoid??

That solenoid uses a 1 amp diode and a 250 ohm resistor

I believe i need the same parts.. just to be sure:
the 250 ohm resistor (10 watt) goes across big terminals the 1 amp diode goes across small terminals? |

Yes, and the band on the diode MUST face the positive side of the activation circuit. If installed incorrectly, you will find yourself digging in to the pedal box to replace the newly destroyed microswitch.
