97 CC Rear end noise

I finally fixed that problem, it was a nylon splined bushing between the motor and the transaxle, $1.00 part.

I don't have a service manual but is this a difficult job to do ? as iam at the campground and have limited tools with me ?

You need snap ring pliers and a small chisel and hammer to remove the old one. Other than that it's pretty straightforward. Make sure to glue the new one in. I can't remember what kind of glue we use. It's made by loctite and it's black in color.

I changed the nylon bushing in a 96 CC a few months ago. That part may
now be something else in a 97 but basically the same procedure.
EVERYONE says it's an easy job. It is once you get the motor off and put
back on but believe me ....getting the motor back on is NOT easy.
I ended up taking the batteries out of the cart and turning the cart on it's side....leaning it up against a hedge so I could manhandle the battery back in place. The nylon guide bushing is glued in place and needs a graphite lube.
The cement and lube were about 10 times the cost of the nylon bushing.

Seriously, its not that bad. The motor is pretty heavy but I've never heard of anyone having to turn the cart onto its side to re-install. When I installed my motor centering kit, the motor never came below the axle. Slide it off, prop it on top of the axle with a jack stand, install the kit and slide it back on. If you going to try and completley remove the motor while laying on your back with your arms above your head then yes, you need to eat your Wheaties.

Well changed it all out not hard to do but still have the clicking noise sounds that sound like its coming from the rear end , is there a bearing or gear that commonly goes bad in the rear differential ?

Clicking noise I have found come from the wheels. Some wheels just seam to click, I have a clicky one on the front right and maybe one on the back. Maybe I need to torque the lugs.

Mine is definitely coming from rear end sounds like a gear or a bearing, guess gonna have to take the differential out and see what I can find .
