Wheel spacers
Anybody ever use the stud type wheel spacers to widen the stance on their cart? How do they hold up? Do you like them? Pros and cons of using them. I'm using steel 10" rims, so not worried about warping fancy rims. Rims are already offset 1 1/2 " Need to go wider for a better stance and hopefully control. 96 CC with 22" tires, 8:1 rear, running a 36v motor on 48V and do a 30.6mph w/gps on flat ground.

Re: Wheel spacers
I'm surprised. I thought it would be better on steel rims than Aluminum!! I thought steel would be stronger!!

Re: Wheel spacers
I have used the stud offsets on my CC with 10" steel wheels and with approximatly 250-300 lbs of additional body weight am not having any problems so far? I do check tightness twice a year and torque to 60lbs. So far no loose studs nor lug nuts after 3 years. I have neighbor with rear seat combo that is using billit 3" PLUS 1 5/8" stud extensions with mag type wheels on his EZGO with no problems after 2 years. He says it made big difference in his steering.
