I'm gonna use the old one.. It wasn't in that bad of shape.. I should probably do some plastic body filler work this winter. I promise I'll get pics up in my resto thread tomorrow.

It's alive!!!!!!!! hahahahaha. thx OLD MEC. i cleaned off the motor real well and the markings were still kinda worn down, but i made sense of it. I connected the wires like you said, and walaa! the baby started purring. im off to buy parts!...

Glad you were able to find motor markings sometimes they are so light that it takes a little really fine sand paper 1500-2000 and pencil lead ( like rubbing a note to see what was written ) to see. Glad motor ok, now the fun begins.
