Re: G3 Sun Classic production?
J42 is the prefix for G3's and J41 is the prefix for electrics

Re: G3 Sun Classic production?
OK I'll guess....69.
Curious why do you need to know this, are you manufacturing parts for them and want to know what the market is? The G3 (Sun Classic) was produced between 1986 and 1989. Standard features included deluxe bucket seats, headlights, tail lights, turn signals, a tempered glass windshield, lockable glove box, and a large front storage compartment. In 1990 it was replaced by the G5 (Sun Classic). Improvements to the G-5 included, lightweight, high-strength Metton® resin body panels, a rack & pinion steering system, a rear view mirror and sun top integrated air vents to cool passengers. |

Re: G3 Sun Classic production?
Maybe because it's a "classic"? I have never seen "production numbers from Yamaha golf car's", but they may be out there, somewhere. If your looking for a value...In good shape 250 to maybe 1000? No body parts are available, engine and some driveline parts are still available. Hope that helped.

None of the cart manufacturers report their production numbers.
