accelator stuck

nephew ran over a tree and now accelator is stuck staying down. any idea how i can fix it.....

with a name like mr fixit certainly you can crawl under there and tell us what broke

Return spring? peddle arm bent? Tree branch stuck in the works?

actually i posted this for my husband because he will be fixing it and the sooner the better. any extra tips please bring them on he is off on thursday and i am hoping to be back in business. Is there a diagram or manual online?

Welcome to BGW Mrs.fixit,
There's really not alot more to say, the operation of the accelerator assembly is that simple.
Just have him do like scotty said and I bet he will see the problem.

any ideas on how to make seats in the back cheaply?

Start with two pieces of marine grade plywood (size determined by size of ocupants),
Add two pieces of foam (sized to fit plywood),
Cover with two pieces of marine grade vinyl (color of your choosing)
Staple with stainless staples,
Build metal frame to support seat and back that will attatch to cart, then enjoy.
Mrs. fixit, it's like covering a chair with material, just using heavier outdoor stuff.
