newbie w/ medalist that wont go
ok so ive got a 95 medalist that i plan on doin some work to. but my problem right now is the enging runs but wont go anywhere. the drive belt seemed to have more slack in it than i thought it should so ive decided i will start there and get a new one. my question is that the belt it had on it had these notches on the inside of the belt..when i got on the net to buy a new one i could buy one with notches or without...could someone please help me with knowing which one is better?

NO notches is fine, that's standard and will do just fine... It a new belt does not get you going maybe a clutch issue?

ya hopefuly this belt gets it going. cuase im gonna be lost if this doesnt help. i dont have the slightest clue about these things. also whats the best way to put on a belt?
