Default 2000 Ezgo Electric wont run

I have the early model 2000 ezgo electric golf cart. I am trying to determine why it wont run. The cart sat all winter and had completely dead batteries. I got them charged up enough so that the powerwise would take over. After the batteries were charged the cart will not move. I can't even get it to enter diagnostic mode and there is no reverse alarm. I have tested the ignition switch and it is fine. Batteries all test fine. I have also tested the solenoid and believe that it is also fine, but hear no clicking. Does anyone have a clue as to what to test for next?

Check to see if you have power into the red/wht wire at the back of the charger plug.

Checked power at plug. Removed cover and tested red/wht wires had 37.74 volts

So the reed switch is fine. I tested the solenoid again and got these readings. 37.64 volts on post closest to batteries and 35.76 volts on other post. I think I read somewhere that the difference should be at least 3 volts. Does this mean the resistor must be replaced? Solenoid?
Thanks

OK I had that wrong on the solenoid. I believe that if the voltage is greater than 3 then the resistor is bad. So once again I am stumped.

If the solenoid does not click but shows continuity between the large posts then the solenoid is either activated full time or welded closed.

scottyb thanks for your help. I believe my best bet is to replace the solenoid and see what happens. At least it is a cheap part.
