I have a friend that works at Microsoft so I buy my software from then employee store. I am a professional software engineer (programmer) so I do not endorse pirated software! I use Visio to do logic & workflow flowcharts. It was just handy when I needed to put a visual diagram together. It would not be my choice for developing an electrical schematic. It does make a pretty picture and is a little easier for the layman to understand. Me, I like a technical schematic, but I am a Geek!

I think Visio is an option to the suite.....I get mine "free" from my former employer (still consult) but I had to ask for it along with a couple of other apps....

Visio does not come in the Office Suite. I had to get both Office 2010 Pro & Visio 2010

Some of these programs are pretty pricey .... I'm still drawing on a free autocad from previous employer and sketchup which isn't bad for a freebee from google. But I'm not a geek

Perhaps, maybe that's why i had to ask seperately for it....now that I think about it they were the ones asking and I was the one checking off the apps I needed so I might have assumed it was part of the suite.

Edit: Hmm, I just looked in my programs folder and Visio resides in the Microsoft Office Folder.....

I'm not even sure that 75% of the words in the last 10 posts are even English.
