Adjusting Toe IN
I lifted my 84 G1 and now I can't get the toe in adjusted. I have the tie rods adjusted all the way and I am still @ about 3/4 inch toe in. Any ideas? I was thinking of shortening the rod between the tie rods but wanted to check here first.

Re: Adjusting Toe IN
of you lifted it then you will have to LENGTHEN them not shorten them. also you will probly have to modify your spindle to have the mounting point higher up or you will have horrible bump steer

Re: Adjusting Toe IN
I already raised the tie rod end mounting point. If I make the connection rod between the tie rod ends longer it will make the toe in worse because it mounts on the back side of the wheel on a G1.

Re: Adjusting Toe IN
yeah i know that...i have a G1. You must have made the steering arm longer or moved it more to the inside when you moved it position. only thing now is just to shorten the steering arm on the spindle or shorten your tie rods. Either or will work
