The cart runs regardless of the position of the run/tow switch, which makes me think that the previous owner swapped out the controller. Tomorrow I'll take the cover off and investigate.

Ok, I finally looked into the current controller etc and my gut was right. The DCS switch was completely abandoned. The previous owner had installed a Curtis 1206-3, 36V, 275 A controller. I also looked at the motor and it's a Yamaha DC Motor, JH7-H1890-11.
What does this mean? What's the best solution for me to increase the speed of this cart? Still a new controller? |
