Ok, I have the Logisystems 480 Amp controller also. Scotty's wiring is correct. You mentioned that you went back to 36v and tried the old controller. What is the voltage you are running your control circuit on? 36v or 48v? What voltage is the contactor controlled by? With it in forward and throttle engaged, what is the voltage from the red wire to the B- and the B+?

I am running at 32 volts (4 batteries) right now so I can switch back to the stock one without overpowering it. I have tried the LGS controller at 32 and 48 volts, it should work for either. Right now I am set up for 32 volts (33.8 actually) Referencing from the pack negative, the B+ is at 33.8 when the solenoid clicks, 32.4 when not due to bleed through from the resistor. B- is tied directly to pack negative so it is at 0 all the time. Finally the M- lug sits at the same as the B+ and varies very slightly around full voltage (33.8v) If I swap in the stock one everything is at it should be and the cart runs. What I am unsure of it why the motor is not spinning 24/7 since the M- lead is full voltage right now. The only differences I have noted on the high amp wires between any diagrams for any type of controller is the wires going to A1 & A2 and the S1 & S2 are sometimes reversed of mine. I have tried to reverse just the A1 & A2 and to reverse both the A1, A2 and S1, S2. still no joy. I am human amd may be missing something but I can't see what. I assume that B+ always needs positive voltage and B- needs negative, then M- sends power to the motor, regardless of what brand of controller right? Whether it is before or after the F&R may vary I guess.

If the stock controller works then its the LGS controller that is bad. I went round and round with mine with the same problems. My solenoid would click and i would have the same reading u had or very similar and it wouldnt go so i grabbed a buddys altrax and it worked fine. I just sent my controller to FSIP to be repaired because i am afraid if i send to Logisystem and they shut the doors i am out of luck. Also i am ordering a FSIP controller they seem to be a good company to deal with.

I think that is it, a bad controller. Who is FSIP? I figured it out.

I guess Flight Systems Industrial products. What did it cost you to get your controller repaired?

At this time FSIP is not accepting Logisystems controllers for repair.

1fastbuggy called me this am and explained that he was again having trouble with his LGS control and he had called FSIP but they told him they had never heard of Logisystems....

I called them and asked if I could have a customer send one in and have them take a look at it... after some discussion, they agreed to take it and investigate.

This is not an open door policy yet.
I am waiting to hear from FSIP once they assess the control from 1fastbuggy....

I'm sure he didn't mean to let the cat out of the bag, but again they are not saying they will or can repair Logisystems controllers at this time, we are simply sending them one to look at...... lets just wait a few days and see what they say.
