Default wondering if these are any good

i bought a cart not to long ago, (few weeks) it did not come with batteries, so i went out and bought 3 deep cycle marine batteries (105 hr @ 1 amp).. they do fine putsing around in the yard and stuff but when i take it to the woods, climbing hills etc, they die fast....

SO, here are my questions....

are these golf cart batteries any good?
has anyone ever used them...
will these make my cart climb inclines better than marine batteries
will they keep charge longer

Only a GC battery will make the cart perform as intended. There are various sizes and quality .... anything other than a GC battery will under perform and the mis-application of the battery will result in a shortened useful life.

As in starting a golf cart engine? It's 35ah!? A golf cart battery is 225ah.

Not only is it not enough amps but I honestly don't think that gel battery technology is there yet for a deep cycle golf cart battery.

lol, never heard anyone say that before(sarcasm). It is worth the investment if you are going to keep your cart. If you take care of the batteries and maintain them like you are suppose to you will get the years out of them to off-set the sticker-shock price.....kinda

You could also check with a local fleet shop. they may have some good 1 year old Trojan batteries for a good price.

They really need to make up their minds.......

Are they AGM? Gel? or SLA? they all seem similar on the outside, but they are completely different on the inside........ And they require different alogorythems for charging......
