Default Brake light question

Guys

I just purchased a 04 CC DS IQ. It came with headlights and tail lights.I'm not sure if they are aftermarket or came installed new. The headlights and tail lights work but i have no brake lights. Do some of these lights systems just have running lights in the back or do I have brake lights and they are not working? If so what could be the fix.

From what I have seen, many, if not most, are just running lights . . . mine and my son's both are . . . guess brake light switch could be added . . .

You need a couple things to make them work as brake lights. By default they are tail lights only.
