Can the relay be replaced or do I have to buy another circuit board?

Question Re: what is this an should it be hooked up to something??

The black cube is the relay as stated. Most people just bypass them when they go bad. The board is the easy part to replace. You can buy the cube but have to unsolder then resolder all those little joints. The relay boad is $95.00 shipped.
The charger will never cut off wired this way and will boil the batteries if left on.

I am gonna make a guess that the PC board went bad and someone hotwired the charger. Common problem with the powerwise model charger. Board is less than $100 and I am sure Scotty has them in stock.......

$100 will buy you a nice temperature controlled soldering station, a lb of solder, solder wick, a turkey sammich, and a new relay!

Oh yeah ~ Where are you getting your Turkey Samwitches ? ~ not Istambul!?

Seriously I bought a bunch of those Relays and 50% of the boards need more than the relay, even when jumpering the relay seems to 'fix' the problem and 50% of the circuit boards that work correctly with a new relay soldered in do not last a year..... That was my findings.... I'm back to buying complete circuit boards.

P.S.:
Don't use a jumpered charger to charge your pack unless you stole the cart and batteries......
That kind of advice is irresponsible. The charger operates in one stage and does not charge the batteries in a 3 stage algorithm as designed or shut off...... Who advises using a charger like that?
