Default Reverse buzzer question

It's been three weeks since I stored my cart and just went out to charge the batteries. I had to move my cart and when I put the switch back to "run" and turned the key on, I then switched it into reverse and the reverse buzzer did not sound like it should until I pressed the pedal. The buzzer now works like it normally does after this. Another words it makes a sound without touching the pedal if I switch it to reverse. So my question is, does this normally happen when the cart sits for a while? Does something go into sleep mode so to speak?

I wonder if it is some sort of safety mode that the controller goes into if that is the cause

Who knows . . could be something as simple as a capacitor that discharges over time . . .

I unhooked the batteries and put the car in R,, the buzzer sounded for a couple of mins before it got week and quit,,, when putting batteries back in it didn't come on right away but seamed to build up power and worked normal,,, I think there must be a reserve power for the buzzer some place.

Same thing happens with my cart. There is a capacitor I read about. It's in the OBC or the controller, I forgot.

On edit: Oops, I meant thumbs up to eric's post....sorry steve
