If you are new to this, you might want to consider simply buying a 48v cart. I just finished my 4th cart which was a 2002 TXT stretch and 36 to 48v conversion. All total, controller, solenoid, wires, battery meter, etc. I spent in the neighborhood of $1500. Good luck on your conversion and remember "speed is money...how fast do ya wanna go".

Check with Scottyb and Carts Unlimited (a site sponsor), he can set you up with what you need for a fair price with great service AND PRECISE INSTRUCTIONS.

I have a 1998 TXT series, and once my batteries bit the dust, I went to 48 volts. ScottyB has the stuff you need. I spent about $1,800 for eight T-105s, Alltrax 4855, HD solenoid, 2 gauge battery cables, Alltrax Ex-Ray, 48 volt charger.
