New G9 Owner (I think )
Hey guys .. just thought I would check in .. I just purchased my first Yamaha and I think it's a G9 because of the seat back support . I'll up load a picture here if I figure out how to do it. I would like to start to fix it up . my wish list is Paint, Lift kit wheels , tires , and some kind of small bed for the back ... Any ideas as I'm a DIY guy that would like to save some money while working on the project. (don't we all) ...
Thanks , Joe |

Re: New G9 Owner (I think )
I'm in the same boat. I bought my first cart a couple of months ago and it's a 92 G9A.
I searched the web on how to find the serial number on Yamaha golf carts and found a site that tells you were to find it and what the leters and numbers mean. I just got done going through it and is running great and so quiet. I'm very impressed with it. Hopefully i get get done sanding the body so I can paint it and enjoy it. Check out Golf Carft King, one of the sites sponsors. I was able to get a lot of parts and the prices are easy on the pocket book! |

Re: New G9 Owner (I think )
Looks like a clean g2 from the pics. Plenty of options for lifting and bigger tires. These carts are like tanks, good off road and easy to work on. There are many aftermarket parts available still, check out the site sponsors. I did notice from your pics, the seat handles are on the wrong side. Welcome to BGW

Re: New G9 Owner (I think )
I did flip the seat handles since the picture and put the top on. Do you think it will do some light towing stock, or does it need some aftermarket stuff ? and is it a G9 ?
