Default Confused on battery meter/state of charge

First post here....awesome forum...already got a ton of great info and very excited to start taking it to customizing my 09 Precedent I just purchased!

So - it is a 48v (12v x 4) configuration with original batteries (standard off lease from a country club model - only upgrade is a new rear seat). I plan to do several power upgrades (ordered a SpeedyLink, will do a light kit...so far thats all the plans on the electrical side - certain to change). The one thing I of course need to know, is the state of the batteries. I read a few times that the meter to get is the Curtis 48v LED - http://www.bakerscartsupply.com/prod...?prod=1604-B22 ...but I've also seen a few others that look pretty slick, like this one - tells hours too (?)

Aside from decent accuracy, fairly straight forward install is up on my wishlist too

Are some more accurate than others? Is the Curtis, THE one to get?

Thanks

Me personally I would buy the one ScottyB on this site sells. On my cart his meter was only off .1 volts
