Default 12" tires rubbing on 1993 marathon

I have 1993 marathon that I have tore down and am restoring it completely. I bought 12" ss wheels with 205/30/12 tires. I sat down to back it out after putting the front cowl back on today and it is rubbing on the tires. Any thoughts? I will post some pics. Shocks don't seem to have any resistance to them. They will push all the way in our all the way out and stay there. Can it be as easy as they are only worn out and need replacements? Everything I read everywhere stated these size wheels and tires would be no problem before I bought them. Thanks for our input.

If your shocks don't have any resistance then they definitely need replacing. i am not going to say that's gonna solve you problem but it should help. Thats gonna be a sweet old school marathon.

Shocks are only there to provide resitance to the cart bouncing. they dont hold the cart up. You may have worn out or bent leaf springs if the shocks are bottomed out while sitting on the ground. (this may also be why you a getting the cowl/tire contact)
