2002 resistor cart??? are you sure??? that should be a controller cart but anyways if it is a resistor cart you,ll need to switch it to a controller cart...........your looking at spending 500 bucks or so............................

that all depends on what you spend...........money=speed, you,ll need a controller, a potbox to replace v-glide a HD solenoid and F&R and 2 gage cables........and i would suggest taking your motor out and sending it to PQ and when your done you should be around 30 mph depending on what motor you have them do and the size of controller..............................

CC made 36v resistor carts for the golf courses in 2002 and beyond... You should convert your cart to solid state speed control. (aka controller cart) After that is done you can use any of the many aftermarket motors available built for more torque or speed and some for a little of both. Talk to somebody with experience, not all motors play well with all makes of controllers and some motors need special controller maps or programming to play well together.

I just converted mine with ScottyB kit, but I also went to 48 volts and on my stock 36v motor I am seeing a consistant 18 mph
